Not sure there is anything sudden about it. They scheduled the Shield and Cup games so as not to clash which seems sensible.

Don't think it was incorrect back in December, but there was certainly a debate about why Shield and Cup games were originally scheduled for the same night.Hartlepool and District obviously took note.
I don't go to their meetings so not sure when the decision was made but we were certainly made aware of it.
In any case isn't it sensible of them not to have these games on the same night so more people can watch them [although sadly I can't] ?
