it's blatantly obvious those naming their teams here haven't seen a single training session so far at least one of the names on every single team on this thread has been awful during pre season and another has been to one session max

He has left, i was in shock.

Dont understand it myself but when he was round my house bubbling like at the wedding he was saying he needs a new challenge.

But he is a wolfy and may change his mind

cant believe what i started here

if the accusation levelled at the first team last season was that they were unfit and pre-season has only been about fitness so far and get reals team is supposedly who the fittest players are does this mean the first team players of last season havent looked fit in training or havent put the effort in or havent turned up or have signed elsewhere?

at the end of the day i'd rather see 15 rovers who are fit and want to play and put the effort in take the field than 15 half fit ones who might be better players but cant really be bothered and are dreaming of being elsewhere

Hardest session so far tonight for me. Thought it would be rubbish but actually turned out really hard. Great work. Feel sorry for the backs training out doors in this

Yes fitness is important but hopefully the teams picked on abit of rugby ability aswell ;-)

Despite Jimmy looking good in training? (as if jimmy ever looks good, 10lb of tatties in a 5lb bag) he is getting on a bit and taking into account the comments in earlier post we need to bring on our excellent youth, they are the future 1st team. That means making sure the backbone of the second team is those young lads who want to step into the breach and are prepared to work hard to get there. Plans are going to have to be made to accommodate those at uni, in some way.

Team choice for me not based on fitness, as I have seen no pre-season.

1. Smith
2. Gregory
3. Pinchen
4. Power
5. Pinchen
6. Brown
7. Smith
8. Dring
9. Barnfield
10. Austwicke
11. Sainty
12. Foreman
13. Grand
14. Cushlow
15. Masshedar

16. Egglestone
17. Cushlow
18. Coulson
19. Grazier
20. King

I think its time someone came on here and set the record straight. Those who have left are

Ste Smith - Concentrate on 10k running
D Smith - Conentrate on football/triathlon
S Hall - retired, again
Cushlow, Lilley, Gerry, Hendo & Handbag - Signed to Team Sky Cycle Team, preparing for Tour de France 2011
Grand - To become a Call of Duty XBOX 360 developer
P Hall - Joined the Dragons Den Team
Austwicke - Modelling for CK

I think everyone else is staying at Rovers. I for one would like to wish everyone all the best for the coming season no matter what sport or with which team they are competing.
