We battled, as the report suggests, and it was good to see Liam Bailey back in action. The fact that a player who has been out 18 months wins man of the match says a lot.
But we made too many handling mistakes, missed too many tackles and didn't look good in set pieces.
We can't afford to let this sort of performance become a habit and the situation needs to be sorted quickly.

It's all well and good praising their opponents' 'speedy backs' week in, week out, but if West don't get some three-quarters who can pass accurately and more importantly know how to tackle, they will be relegated

There is a real sense of the momentum of last year/2 years being at risk. Absences key of course and a win at the wkd could see a returning upward curve. Here's hoping!
