We MUST play MUCH better next week, NB Alnwick only just lost at Pocklington. A determined and purposeful attitude will be needed if we are to return with points. Hopefully we will have better weather and better hands!!

Yes, a win is a win ... but I'm not looking forward to the video.
It was just one of those days when nothing came off, but if and when it all happens as planned, we'll hammer somebody.

When you are top of the league everyone you play steps up a gear or two because they want to knock you off your pedestal and City also had local pride at stake.

Good points WPA. Plus a few of the lads hadn't played much rugby recently including the Myers bros and the skipper and a few others were at George Wall's wake on Friday night.
Need some good training sessions this week.

Thanks Dave!! WPA is quite right and something I brought up before the City game. We need to be aware of these facts and double our effort straight from the kick offs and adopt the latin saying!!
