What a treat it was to see so many "regulation" tries scored as the backs whipped the ball along the line. As good a performance as we've seen all season and a great way to end the home campaign.

Mathematically we need two points to be sure as Northern's points difference is much worse than ours and of course a draw as a minimum against B&b would ensure they to couldn't catch us. But our eyes should be on better things and the higher up the league the better. If we can replicate this performance over the last two games top half is a possibility!!! Sounds as if we played really good rugby and a worthy tribute to our young colt!!

If teams are level on points then the first consideration is games won.

Great to see Owen Bennett on the scoresheet yesterday - richly deserved. And we are thinking of starting a sweep on how many tackles Danny Boatman puts in - talk about leading by example and he didn't get a yellow card!

Would just like to say... what a cracking game! We played some fantastic rugby & it looks like now we`re playing with some structure... well done boys!

Just to echo what has been said - that defeat at Horden seems to have got everyone back into focus as we've only lost once since then..
The Percy Park faithful were moaning that its the worst they've played etc. The truth was our lads tackled them out of the game and then took their chances.
I had the privilege of the sneak preview of the new clubhouse before the game and I was bowled over. Its much bigger inside than it looks on the outside and the dressing rooms and bars are of the highest quality. I can only see this club going from strength to strength.

Didn't know we could have a look round ???? Was that for a chosen few.

As far as the game was concerned some very good tries and total commitment by all the lads. However, I really really hope nobody thinks the job is done as we need at least one more point to guarantee safety and we would look really stupid if we slipped through the trapdoor come 4.30 on the last day of the season.

The look round was just for the players as we'd hoped the Percy Park game would have been the first in the new clubhouse. The floor is still drying out but hopefully we will be in there soon.
