Would like to echo the efforts of those people mentioned and express my sincere condolences to Reg's family. What an absolutely wonderful man; true gent, family and rugby always close to his heart and I for one am better for meeting him. Carlo. x
Very sad news indeed - Reg was a great guy and a real rugby man. Condolences from myself, my wife's family, who knew the Turners well, and from all at Hartlepool Rovers.
What a sad day for everyone. Reg was a true gentleman and had time for everyone. He will be sadly missed by all.
Our heartfelt condolences to Joyce, Stephen and the Turner family.
Very sad news that Reg has passed away so suddenly. On behalf of players and supporters at Hartlepool Cricket Club may I send my sympathies to Reg's family and friends at West.
A very talented cricketer in his day and a very loyal supporter at Park Drive. A true gentleman and a great company whether it be discussing cricket or rugby.
Our thoughts are with Reg's family and friends.
Wasn't so long ago when Reg and Joyce were telling me about when they decorated the West clubhouse - in 1949! - and then how they threw themselves into rugby when they moved to Texas.
I thought it was a very fitting minute's silence today from all the Junior teams.
Sadly missed,
Geoff, Corinne, Andrew, Jane and Michael Hainsworth
